100 Monkeys interview
When I was at the Spencer Bell Legacy concert on the 28th of august I got the chance to meet the guys in 100 monkeys and ask them a few questions.

So I started the interview with asking the boys how they got to know each other and they told me that Ben J, Ben G and Jackson got to know each other 10 years ago in high school. And Jackson met Jerad in LA and then the guys met Uncle Larry during the filming of a movie.
Because this was the Spencer Bell Legacy show I wanted to know if they all knew Spencer and they told me that Jerad and Uncle Larry did not.
Ben J, Ben G and Jackson were all in a “gang” with Spencer Bell and 2 more guys and they were called the lost boys. So now they have a tattoo that says “I’m lost”
They also have an Ouroboros tattoo as Spencer did.
None of them have any monkey inspired tattoos but they said they would think about that
Then I asked the guys if they had ever been to Sweden and Jackson told me that when he lived in Norway for 4 years he went skiing in Sweden, and Uncle Larry visited Sweden when he was in the military
And the last but absolutely not least important question I got to ask: Will there be a Europe tour. The answer I got was:
Well we are a bluegrass indie band without any money but we really would like to get the chance some day
And we do hope that they will because we really want to get them here to Europe!
We from 100monkeys.se also got the chance to give the guys some gifts from Sweden.

They really liked the guitar picks with the Swedish flag on and the monkey guitar strap.

And Jackson sure seems happy about the Swedish vodka.

He also tried to eat some Swedish candy called “Zoo” (small fruit monkeys) without opening the box

Sorry to say that Jerad didn’t seem to be as happy about the Swedish candy “djungelvrål” Its small liquorice monkeys dipped in salt. No other monkey dared to taste them but they sure did enjoy looking at Jerad while he did funny faces!

Then the guys were sweet enough to sign some stuff for us with a hallo to Sweden.

Thanks guys for being so fantastic! And thanks Marty for making it possible!

A big thank you to Sara Carlsson for the fantastic pictures!
