Big news about the band!!!
From 100 monkeys just now:
Hey folks, 100 Monkeys has some news. Due to demands on their personal lives and professional careers, our good friends
Jackson Rathbone and Jerad Anderson will be leaving the band as active members. We have much love for both and wish them well, and they will always be welcome if they should ever decide to drop in on any future shows, or make appearances on recordings. The last four years of albums, tours and other projects have truly been fantastic, and the legacy they leave behind in their work will be remembered in all of our future endeavors. We wish them the best in their future projects and anticipate great new things to come.Ben Johnson, Ben Graupner, and Lawrence Abrams will continue with 100 Monkeys and will be working onward with the release of the band’s new single “City of Bones,” March 12th, and a set of shows in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas starting this April. We will be playing these as a five-piece and will announce the names of the accompanying musicians shortly.
We really can’t tell you how much we love all of you. It is an absolute honor to have received the support and encouragement you have given us through the years, and from all of us we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to many more shows, albums, videos, books, and god knows what else we will come up with, and we look forward to sharing it with the people that matter the most, all of you.
Much Love,
100 Monkeys

New friends on 100monkeys.se
So I met a lot of fantastic people on the Eurotour! And among those I met two sweet Swedish fans and decided to let them start blogging on this site. So hopefully we can all get this site more alive again.
A short presentation of the girls:
Hey Monkeyfans!
My name is Amanda and I’m 16 years old.
I’m a huge fan of 100 Monkeys (obviously..) and although I met them for the first time this November, I’ve already been to three of their extraordinary shows. Hopefully there will be more later!
I’ve got the amazing honor to start as a blogger on this site and I’m going to do my best to keep you updated with lots of pictures and news of our favorite boys. If you’re curious about anything – feel free to ask!

Hello everyone! My name is Mika, I’m 14 years old and I’m a monkeyjunkie just like you guys. In the past month I’ve been to three of 100 Monkey’s concerts and I always have a blast with them. They’re not just a great band, I also think that they’re fantastic persons. I really hope that I’ll be able to meet them again soon – and attend more shows!
In the meantime I’ll be blogging here on the website, post everything about the band and their music, and I’m so grateful for this opportunity. I hope that I’ll do okay and you’re always welcome to ask me anything.

So help me to welcome these girls!

Jackson Rathbone’s Travel Hazards
Jackson just got an article published in papermag. Its fantastic and you all really should read it. He really is a good writer! And we finally get to know the whole story about that blue eye.

It was the spring of 2010 and I was in love. The girl who had stolen my heart was a black 2006 custom Gibson Les Paul. We had met in the City of Angels on my 25th birthday. She wanted to come home with me, and I could tell this would be more than a one-night stand. This was love — not my first — but the last in a long line of broken strings and humbuckers. Our love was electric. She sang to me, and I knew her name was Betty.

Bib Ben improv from London
Here is a little treat for you.
Swedens youngest 100 Monkeys fans?
If you can just dance and imitate the sounds, who cares if you dont know any english! 100 Monkeys is always perfect for dancing and singing along to. At any age. But Keep awake gets just a little bit creepy with identical twins. The Shining: Come and play with us… but dont forget to keep awake!
My sweet twins are huge 100 Monkeys fans and was really bummed that they could not join me to the Stockholm or London shows. They really wanted to meet the guys.
